Note: Half-kin species share stats and traits with the full beast-kin varieties.
Also note, that some effects that affect slaves also affect the main character. Things like foraging efficiency don't apply for obvious reasons, but things like speed in combat DO. (The ones I can confirm are wolf, cat, seraph and centaur.)
*Demon ability may be bugged. Either that or 100 wit on a lab assistant easily reaches the cap on cost reduction (0.5.15d version)
** Actual effect is that it multiplies opposing accuracy by 0.9. So cats avoid 10% of what would be a hit for all hits with accuracy within 100. (and don't actually get any advantage against accuracy of 111.(1) or more)
It's probably worth noting that the additive 10%-16% evasion granted by seraph's +4 speed is almost always more than what you get from the cat's bonus. And then there's the fact that seraphs get a bonus to both hit AND accuracy from their added speed, while cat's bonus is only defensive.
*** Normally a character gets 15 exp, 5 more per library level, 1 more per 12 wit, and 8 LESS per level. Only the initial 15 is doubled for gnomes. And the way it is written in the code, I'm 99.99% sure it's exactly how it was intended to work (basically gnomes use a different line in code that uses nearly the same exact formula where the only difference is that 30 is written instead of 15). Learning points gain is not increased either.
**** Cook reduces food consumption per person from the base of 10 (it's always a base of 10 with assigned cook even if the value is changed with constants mod), by no more than 7. You get 1 point of reduction per 2 agi and 1 per 40 wit. Chef being a scylla grants an additional 1 point reduction. Note however that scylla's agi potential is only 4, as such a fully trained cook of any race with agility potential of 6 can, cook just as well as a fully trained scylla.
